Dragonborn quest-Unearthed is stuck, please help.

Paid Ralis 1,000 gold to begin excation of Kolbjorn Barrow, waited 3 days, courier gives me message from Ralis-yet when i talk to him he says '' We've got a crew on it, their not sharpe but their working hard. Come back soon to see how their doing. WHAT do i do !

same thing. i just tcl'ed my way though the ash and completed the quest that way. takes some of the fun away though....

Just wait for a day or two. Go to Raven Rock and you'll get the message.

Same problem here. When you read the letter nothing happens, the object never completes. Is there a way to force this completion so the quest can continue.

JOW gave the answer, when you get that letter go back, the next part of the quest starts when you speak to the guy. This quest is a little repetative and you will need a lot of money before your done.

I am sorry but JOW did not give the answer. After you get the letter and go back to Ralis all he says is "We've got a crew on it, their not sharpe but their working hard. Come back soon to see how their doing". That is all he says and never continues to anything else. It seems to be stuck in some sort of loop.

I've got the same issue. i paid Ralis the money, did a few quests on Solstheim though not the main questine, went back to SKyrim did a couple of things there, the Courier came and gave me a letter to come back to Ralis, did so, he tells the line "we're working on it.." saw the thing about sleeping in Solstheim, went to Raven Rock slept for 3 days, went outside for the Courier to arive did't. even after waiting in-game for 5 hours, then fast travled to Tal Mythrin because when i played on Xbox the Courier often came to me there with Ralis's letters

but noting. it wwon't advance, i have a letter but the game wound aknowledge that I have it so i can't advance the quest. I also see people opeing up the concol and makeing a skript change and what not. but i'm a noob at PC ( have to use xbox controler for it on acount of CT with my wrists) anyway I don't know how to get into the game files (and yes it's steam) to make skript changes in the qiestline.

i can't be the only one with the issue of gettting the letter but the quest doesn't advance, and no i can't upload an eariler save before the questline or before the 1st letter comes.

Just a random thought, dropping the letter and picking it up might trigger the next step. If not, read up on console commands to set the next stage of the quest.

Mine is stuck in a different place. I went back and was told about everyone but Ralis getting killed by Draugr...cleared them out and went back to talk to him but all he says there is nothing we can do if we can't get past the dead end. He is supposed to ask for more money for more miners since it's their new excavation work that allows us deeper into the burrow.
