Miraak will not die

Another glich with this pile of crap. Got past the first one now Miraak has killed all the dragons and he just stands there in the middle. You cant hurt him and he does nothing but stand there. I have thrown everything at him including the kitchen sink. Anyone, Anyone, Beauler, Beauler.

You have to defeat him with a weaker weapon. I found that it frags up if you bring his health bar down too far with vey few hits. I had that problem due to having a god-like enchantment on my weapon. Go back to your save before you talk to him and it should not glitch up.

I was having this for another reason. Something in the load order for my mods was blocking dragon souls from absorbing. Turns out, it was broken for Miraak too. I changed the order away from chaos, and the fight works fine after. So, if the problem you have is NOT the "very powerful blows stagger the script" problem... :D Good news!

I finally got by this, so here's what I did. Maybe it'll help. First I had the "riding-on-air-instead-of-a dragon" problem. I kept unchecking mods until it worked. Then I got to Miraak, but he went and got in the kiddie pool and wouldn't get out, so I cut some more mods until that worked. The mods I shut down were mostly cosmetic and had no effect on my game history. I also got rid of "ënhancement" mods of all types. When M finally decided to play I went after him two-handed and heavy, and his health went down quickly. The second he ran for the pool I sprinted to his first dragon and gave it one swipe (I learned if I didn't he'd eat me), then I got out of the way, and, Lo, Miraak took his soul and came after me! I did this twice more, and then Herma-Mora finished him off. Remember to loot his bones and look around some before you leave. Oh, by the way, I got him with a Light Saber, so I know that mod works.

Its seems that when Miraak trys to absorb the soul of a dragon and he is hurt at the center pool he gets inturupted from absorbing that soul and can't be hurt or killes. So when he warps to absorb a soul don't hurt him and that might help.

for some reason when I get to the end of the battle miraak goes underground and stands there, and when I used tcl to go down there it said he was "busy". anyway I can just skip to the end?

Replay from the ol' autosave is a tedious, yet sometimes necessary thing...we've all been there!

I found a solution that worked for me i found that the unofficial Skyrim patch was causing the problem, when i killed a dragon any dragon it would not brun up but just sit there i could loot it but thats all no soul same when i was fighting Miraak, he could not absorb the souls because of the patch. When i disabled the mod it worked fine Miraak did his thing and absorbed the dragon souls then died as he should just make sure you distance yourself from each slain dragon as you may take the soul instead. Hope this hleps other people who may be stuck.

I got behind something just hit him with fireballs, this is after dragons souls had been used up I just kept him away from centre when he did go to it he was 3/4 down on health then Herma-Mora did the rest

I had the same glitch but when I put it to the bottom of the load order it seemed to have worked
