I never got this quest, beacuse I just ignored them until I defeated Alduin. I then went to go see what their reaction would be. Boy did i get suprised.

theres a mod on the workshop called "paarthurnax fix" you should get it. it lets you continue the questline without killing him

I use delphine to level up my destruction and two handed skills, since she is npc and wont die.

LOL. That is pretty funny and that is a good use to get out of her but you can do it without killing him.

Spared him, he is just so freaking cool and his ideology is a combination of all the cool aspects of many major religions, and at the end he implies that he intends to unite the dragons under the Laws of the Nine that way they no longer evil, cool with me man! no more extinction!

Percisely my point! If he is going to not lead them down the path of evil but good UNDER THE NINE, then they shouldn't be killed unless they TURN EVIL and decide to kill everyone. Then I will side with the Blades, but untill then he lives in my story.
