Best assassin build help

[Can a house be evil?]

Anyone have tips on building a great assassin? I am replaying the game and really want to try and build the best assassin I can. Thanks!

Well you will need One-handed for your dagger. Archery for long range. Alchemy for the poisons. Sneaking to get closer for the kill and Smithing & Enchanting to make your weapons and your light armour the best you can. Oh, and don't forget to leave clumsy Lydia behind!

yeah, never have a housecarl or a sell-sword by your side! all they do is alert the enemy by charging at them, losing yur advantage of surprise:(

I used Khajit for class, Theif standing stone, go sneak everywhere to build to 100 fast, Illusion( for invisibility later on),Light Armour, Single handed,(daggers), Archery, and I guess Enchanting+ Smithing, join Theives Guild do all quests, then Dark Brotherhood questlines. Oh and I use Mask of Krosis as Improves Archery amongst other things (found at Shearpoint). Maybe others have better idea's but this is what ive done so far with my character at level 42, and im cutting throats with ease :D I never bothered with Alchemy/Poisons as I just steal mine xD

don't forget to learn MUFFLE as soon as you can...cast it nonstop to build that up, and of course sneak ALL THE TIME...get that up to 100 ASAP...I'm mostly a Bow guy, can kill almost anything with one shot if I'm sneaking...'cause I built up my smithing too, and can make bows that have 300+ Dam...add extra damage for sneak and a beefed up critical, built up my Eagle Eye, and slo-mo draw...
