Why is my follower acting odd?
My follower Ghorbash Iron Hand, whether he is following me or staying at home keeps on doing the same thing. He just stands on the spot shuffling his feet and kind of waddling. He just about follows but he wont do stuff like mount his horse, he just stands there doing the waddling thing. It's really irritating but at the same time he is the only follower I like so getting rid of him isn't an option. Can someone help me sort this out?

Maybe he wants to go to the loo! Seriously, in a normal (human) person it sounds like he's overlaoded, but a follower usually refuses to take more than their limit.

However I think someone mentioned in a previous thread that one of their followers had a groin rash (not joking) , though I thought at the time it was a joke, and they wouldn't get on their horse. Must try and track that down.

Rechecked threads. Apparently two necromancers were overheard talking about a groin rash that occured from a misfired spell. Reported on quartertothreedot.com. Sorry thought it was on our discussion area. :(

Sorry but that made me chuckle. I am ashamed and will walk away with head hung in shame.

in all seriousness though, it might be worth doing a companion share with this follower and taking everything back from them accept their default gear (or as near to as possible). Then get the console up, click on the follower and type "recycleactor" and hit <enter> (without the quotes). This should reset the follower to his default kit and settings. He should (in theory) then follow his default behaviours and work properly. Make sure you have clicked the character after getting the console open so the game engine knows that you are recycling the follower. I'm not 100% sure this will work but once I'd thought about it, it was the only thing I could think of that "could" work.

Again, sorry I behaved like a 12 year old.

^ Thank you very much. I haven't tried this yet, since I just completed Skyrim so I have moved onto Morrowind, but when I go back to it I shall give this a try.

Even if it doesn't work I appreciate the help :)
