Need to find Lydia's Body
I left Lydia behind at some point in the game, but now I need to find her body to retrieve a quest item she was carrying. Any easy way to track her body down?

Not unless you've a quest you can set that might lead you to her body. Barring that you might have to load a save back from before you "lost" her.

seems sombody need to write a mod, where you can tell a dog to search companions when they get lost :D

Two things you can try ...

- Open the console and type:

player.moveto A2C94

- I can't remember if the Ref ID changes for corpses so if that doesn't work or the body is not visible type this instead:

prid A2C94

resurrect

moveto player

NB - If she was alive when you left her she may have gone home to Breezehome or Dragonsreach in Whiterun depending where you are in the game quest line.
