Problem joining the thief's guild (solved)

Hi everyone,
I am trying to join the thief's guild, but there is a bug. I am stuck at the quest "No stone unturned" (objective: "Become a full member of the thief's guild"). I brought my unusual gem to Vex inside of the ragged flagon (tavern) and she (or someone else I can't remember) told me to become a full memeber, but when I activate the quest It leads me nowhere and when I look at the map it tells me to go inside of the ragged flagon cistern, which I cannot acces because I am not a full member (doors are locked and graveyard entrance too...).
My guess is that I should talk to a guy who will open the doors, but the problem is that he stays inside of the cistern. (such a dummas!)
What do you guys think?

Did you do the pick the lock take the ring and place it in someone pocket quest... if not there your problem

Darkfire is correct. You need to get the initial quest from Brynjolf who is selling trashy potions in the marketplace.

No because I need to talk to brynjolf but he is in the cistern and I cannot join him. Once I talk to him, he will tell me to take the ring. How can I get him out of there?

Brynjolf is always selling his goods during the day. Take a rest and go to the marketplace about 0830 and if he is not there then wait.

No, even during the day he is not on the marketplace. Madesi and all the other sellers are there but not him. I really don't know what to do :-s

Go back to the gates of Riften. When you enetr Riften for the first time he is leaning against a post. It may be a glitch in the game so try re-entering Riften and see if he is there.

I've entered riften lots of times, and I've played many hours since he disappeared. It would be a pain in the *ss to restart from an old save. Maybe there is a mod or something to let me enter the cistern???

I've never joined the Thieves guild but have had no problem entering the Ragged Flagon Cistern, Ratway Vaults Warrens or findng Brynjolf. If you have already entered it once to speak with Vex I don't understand why you would have a problem now.

Vex is in the tavern of the ragged flagon. Once you enter the thiefs guild you can cces the ragged flagon cistern (which you can also acces by the graveyard).

Go to Workshop. Pick Skyrim. Enter mod name in search area. Find mod and subcribe after reading details and making sure it will not conflict with any other mods you have.

Exit to game and before pressing play in small scene, check out that mod is loading. This will show at the bottom under exit and will take a few moments to load. When it has finished loading press play.

I thought you were after Brynjolf? You said you couldn't enter the cisterns!

yeah that's right, I cannot enter it because I haven't done the quest, but brynjolf is in the cistern and doesn't want to come out there to give me the quest... And the mod I foud doesn't relly help.

As already stated you don't need to do the quest to enter any part of the Ragged Flagon Cistern, Vault or Warrens so I don't know where your difficulty lies.

So tell me how you entered the cistern without being a member of the guild?!?
the door is locked (actually it is a fake wardrobe).
