Plants and Ingredients respawning
I know that plants and ores and so on have a respawn time of a couple of weeks to a month.
But since I picked the blue mountain flowers and all those ingredients around Whiterun, they've yet to respawn for the first time. And I have played for nearly 80 hours on this account.

Does anyone know if you can manually respawn the ingredients through console or something? 'Cause I visit Whiterun quite often (as I heard that stuff only respawns when not being visited for some time?!) and if so, I won't ever see any flowers again in this area :P

Any help would be hot!

I've played over 200 hours with Skyrim and never had a problem with flowers respawning around Whiterun. Are you spending any time sleeping or just playing nonstop?

There are plenty of flowers all along the roadsides, try taking a walk/run down the road. Some flowers are hard to see if you are travelling fast or in dim light. Take a cart ride to another town and check out their flora. Solitude is a good town as it has lots of flowers actually in the city itself.

Trust me, I walk all over skyrim to get my ingredients. My stacks are completely full! (Fast travel is for female kitties :P) Lol, why can't I say pussiies xd
I do sleep at night from time to time (if I don't change into a werewolf) but how would that cause any problems? The number of days that have passed is around 34 at the moment...

That's really wierd. Have you got any mods that affect the plant life?

Has your map updated at all during the time you have been playing? If not try updating the map by doing a quest.

Yeah, but graphical ones only. But what did you say about sleeping? Does that affect anything in any way? 'Cause I'm playing Skyrim like a role-play at the moment, so I do sleep at times when people normally sleep and stuff like that...

And what about the cell only reseting when you don't visit it for a week or so... is that really true? Does it work that way?

Map updated like, you found a new location to go to via quest? Then yes, as I said: role-play, so I've been doing all sorts of quests!

There is some question about how long it takes for plants to respawn. According to some comments it can take anywhere between 7-30 days.

If you really need some ingredients I find it simpler just to do quests/favourrs for the Alchemist, then they let you help yourself to their stock with a few exceptions.

I think sleeping only effects the time frame, so you are not as aware of waiting for the plants to regrow.

Well luckily for me its only around Whiterun that the plants still have to respawn. Rather annoying though to see all those empty bushes around. But I think in the other holds the ingredients did respawn after some time.
Can't say for sure for everything as the route to Whiterun is a single one (the path south of it) and the routes I take to the other holds are from different directions everytime, so different flaura and such if you get what I mean (its not the same spot over and over again that I pass)

But yeah, I have yet to see them respawn around Whiterun... Guess I can just hang around in the other holds and then visit Whiterun after a week or so to see what happens.

I find whiterun spawns quite nice for me, even the nernroot under the bridge by the honeymead place comes back :)

Nirnroot grows back for me all over Skyrim, so I have no problem with those ^^
