Black Fade Screen?

So I've just completed the battle for Whiterun, I head back back into town after all the praise and ♥♥♥♥, and my screen fades out (sort of like I remember happening when Astrid visits you in the dream?). I took a screenshot but apparently can't upload it-- just picture the screen slowly fading out starting at the edges and then becoming completely black. I can still walk around and even see command words (like 'Sleep Bed' when I look at my bed), I can still open my inventory and stuff, and I still see the little compass thing at the top of my screen. I've reloaded the save a bunch of times and after a fixed amount of game time the screen always fades out, no matter what I do. Is this part of a weird quest or something??? Help please.

I skimmed through it and it seems that they haven't really found a solution, except for saying that this mod

might help.I don't really know what that Mod does exactly, though. Should I install it?

I've had this problem on some of my saves
Type "teofis" in the console to get things back to normal

I realize this has probably already been addressed in another thread since the last post, but since this one has no resolution I thought I'd share my solution here, in case anyone else is having this issue and can't find how to fix it without turning off all your lighting effects with the "teofis" console command (which, imo, makes your game look horrible).

After examining my active effects, I realized what was causing my screen to fade to black/white. I had saved my game with vampire sight turned on, and so when the sun rose, it screwed up the lighting and made me go blind.

I turned off all of my active effects that I was able to, and then the moment I disabled "improved vampire sight" (from the Belua Sanguinare mod) my lighting corrected itself.

Hope this works for you guys! tbh I was pretty panicked when my game started doing this. I was afraid I'd have to play the rest of my game in that ugly "teofis" state.
