Nord accent.
Hey guys I am trying to find a way to make my voice sound a nords.(Ralof for example not so much Ulfric) using Audacity. I've looked and people say Swedish/Scottish accent would work the best.

If its voice you are looking for then its easy to just change the audio and compare it with ralof or other nords until it sounds right, if its skyrim nords you are thinking of. If its accent you want, then go for a swedish or norwegian accent, or a mix of swedish and scottish for a skyrim nord accent.

My main thing is I want to edit M voice (ill admit kind of white and nerdy(no Weird Al refference) to sound like a nords, so I could use it as commentary for skyrim.

Nords in Skyrim don't sound Scottish/Swedish at all. Try Austrian, let's face it, they all sound like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I recommend you watch the 13th Warrior every day for a week. That should allow you to imbibe a faux Nord-ish accent.

I dont think 13th Warrior warrior will help nor is Austrian either :c.

Nord/Nordic is a pretty generic term for boreal europeans. Many of the Nord voice actors for Skyrim are Austrian.

Hmm..Well the bottom line is I need to find a way to make me sound like a Nord using Audacity haha, or even SoundForge.

So it would be swedish.
no! not either! ralof has a sort of a mix of welsh and scandinavian (not swedish) accents! Its weird, but that is as close as I could tell you. The guards have a Slesvig-Holstein or Prussian German accent and people like Alvor have an accent like Jutlandic Danish or southern Norweigan!

So if I want to obtain a Voice like Ralof/Hod/Alvor I'd shoot for Norweigian and Scandinavian?
