At best they offer valuable insight like on the Dragon War or about the Dragon cult practice of burying its followers with their priest in Amongst the Draugr, but not much in the way of any specifics. Ahzidal's Descent is one of the few books that mentions a dragon priest specifically by name including two rumours of his possible whereabouts. One of which is false, while the other is true. Even the author of the Guardian and Traitor admits the identity of the Traitor has been lost to time.
A Minor Maze, specifically mentions Bromjuunar and Labyrinthian that were of great importance to the Dragon Cult, however even though an aspiring Dragon Priest hunter might suspect one of the priest had been entombed there, alas without Collage of Winterhold's the Eye of Magnus there's no way of confronting Morokei.
And unlike the quest-books such as the Legend of Red Eagle, the Lost Legend, the Aetherium Wars, etc you're not going to find any that direct you specifically towards any of the Dragon Priests in Skyrim.
Out of all the Dragon Priest encounters, there are only three quests where the primary objective specifically targets Dragon Priests with the goal of defeating them.
1) Mirrak, whose existence is only revealed to the Dragonborn after being attacked by his followers. A questline that becomes available shortly after the protagonist comes into their own power as Dragonborn.
2) Upon arriving outside of Forelhost (ruins that are typically discovered by exploration before Tolfdir’s quest “Alteration Ritual spell” ) the Dragonborn is tasked with killing Rahgot during Siege on the Dragon Cult in order to retrieve a “powerful weapon” for one Captain Valmir.
3) Upon entering Valthume, the Dragonborn is met with the spirit of Valdar, who after a brief conversation will enlist the Dragonborn’s assistance in defeating Hevnoraak during Evil in Waiting. Quest discovered by exploration or complementary of the Greybeards with their “Words of Power” radiant quests.
All other Dragon Priest encounters or information on them are the result of progressing the main-questlines, faction questlines, side quests, radiant quests, bounty contracts, or through exploration. Most of the information we know about Dragon Priests is through various NPCs, exploring ancient Nordic ruins, through journals and notes with additional information you can't find anywhere else, or from other Elder Scrolls games.
In other words, you're not going to find the location of every Dragon Priest through books.
