Reset NPC Clothing?
So I reacently just downloaded hothtrooper44 immersive armors mod on my computer. I used it for a while without trouble but was having issues with my game crashing and thought this might be the culpert. i removed the mod and this seemed to fix my crashing problem but now all the NPC's that where equiped with the extra amors are walking around naked or missing pieces of armor. Is there some way to reset all of the armors or to undue this? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Opening up the command console, clicking on the naked npc and using the ressurect command should cause them to equip their armor. I also have no idea why any armor mod would cause you to crash.

This happened to me in vanilla game without mods, but you can solve it one by one
I found following very useful:

Open the Console and click on the naked NPC

then type:

ShowInventory

-> Find the items you want him to wear and look for the FormID.

This will look like: 1 - Item Name (FormID) (other stuff)

Then enter:

EquipItem FormID

yeah, ranger armor causes instant ctds for me as well, uninstalled this mod unfortunately. oh well. Great looking mod, but I'd rather be able to play my game.
Well my npc's when i took stuff from them like clothing for example they would stay like that now however every zone put them back in clothing.
Not a big problem but something has changed that make there inventory reset never did before apart from keys and stuff o.O

never had any problems also using immersive armor for npc.
Yeah I do not really care so much about things like this if anyone really has a problem and wants them to go back to default then it's pretty easy.
Open console, click on the npc you what to reset and type disable and then enable without closing the console in between.
As soon as you put in disable they vanish and then when you enable they reload but fully default load. This is also helpful if a door does not open due to a bug just click on door disable and bam can walk right in through.

I found recently that "recycleactor" does the job much better

Idk what the BAD EDITOR ID thing means but I get that

instead of "showinventory" you can just type "inv"
And, if you frequently forget what you needed to type, you could make yourself a batch file all lines preceded by ; and remind yourself. so if you write bat naked then your reminder will show in the console and you can fix the NPC

just type in console resurrect ... the npc should reset their stuff
