Mouse sensitivity in menus
It's seriously WAY too high for me in the main menu and other in-game menus. Look sensitivity is fine tho.

Curre mouse/mouse settings:

Razer mamba 2012 edition
6400 DPI
Windows mouse sensitivity at lowest
acceleration off
In-game look sensitivty at lowest.

first, turn your dpi down, you can adjust it on the fly with the Razer software. Secondly, you can turn off mouse acceleration in the skyrimprefs.ini file by changing the value of bMouseAccerleration to 0, it is under the [controls] section of the file.

Alright, i turned the mouse acceleration off from the file which helped a bit, but not much. Still way too high. I also tried to change DPI (I've set my DPI range from 4000 to 6400) but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

You also should turn the mouse sensitivity in skyrim all the way down and probably should turn it down a little in windows, too. You should also turn off mouse acceleration or smoothing in Windows. Just for reference, I run my Razer mouse at 2500 dpi

Only setting i have in skyrim is "Look sensitivity" which doesn't seem to affect the sensitivity of menus (And it's on lowest). Windows sensitivity is on lowest and accelerations and all the other stuff is turned off. I'm not going to turn my dpi any lower than the 4000 that i've set since it'd be just affecting all my other games.

you can set up profiles to automatically load for each game, with each game having five unique selectable levels of sensitivity.

This is old, but I found a fix for anyone still having this issue now.

In your SkyrimPrefs.ini (usually found in your documents>mygames>skyrim), It'll look something like this...

[Interface]
fMouseCursorSpeed=0.7

Play around with it, and change it to something you're comfortable with.
0.7 works for me

The reaction of @johnburd solved my issue too. had trobble with scrolling(the menus would scroll all the way down automatcially) hovers would remain to short to be able to click.
setting it to 0.7 worked like a charm
tip for ^^^ change the setting when the game is closed or it will reset to the normal settings

i tryed several.. sensitivity setup in game.. and for me works best on max...go in control panel mouse settings.. and disable mouse smoothing and acceleration... that improve a lot behavior of sensitivity

I could have a DPI of 12,000 but use 500.....

nothings working, and the notepad script isn't refreshing or anything so it's not like my settings are being reset. Turned the acceleration to = 0 and literally put the "fMouseCursorSpeed" to .1
