Where is the best place to sell Dragon Bones and Scales?
I figured Whiterun would be a good place that can give you a lot of dosh, but I'm not too sure.

U need to keep them to make armor and weapons

I sell them to all general good stores and khajit Caravans

Why not make armour from them then sell it?

Most merchants offer the same amount of gold wherever you go UNLESS you have Allure or Amulet of Zenithar inplace.

well I normally don't choose the dragon armor smithing perk, but if I find dragon armor and/or weapons I will improve them and sell them

Hmm, good point. I am trying to work my way up to 5000 so I could get that house in Whiterun unless you know of a better city to settle.

If you're trying to make money you should be transmuting iron ore to silver/gold and making jewelry (preferably with gems).

Edit:
You could also be making a little money off enchanting weapons, and making potions.

The best city to settle is Windhelm, the house isn't the biggest but is the one that has more storage! Besides it looks nice and has a forge nearby! However you can only buy once you have either completed the Imperials questline or joined Stormcloacks! And I'm preety sure you have to do Bloo On Ice first! :)

That reminds me:
You can get a free house in Markarth just by doing the beginning of a quest line there. Takes about 5-10 minutes.

@Spode
But you might not be able to find someone that has enough to fully buy your Dragon Armor, if you decide to make it better. I could not find anyone with enough money to buy Legendary Dragonplate armor until I had the Speech perk where you could invest in businesses

I am still a little unsure on how to locate veins in mines. Whenever I go there and look around. There never seems to be much. Also, how good is woodchomping for making mone?

I've seen on YouTube that this was a very easy way to make the bank.

Will help you locate ore veins easier, not just in mines

What files do you suggest I backup in case I ever wanted to uninstall them?

This is a good page to bookmark should you want to revert back to unmodded Skyrim.
http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again
There are links here to instruct on backing up your install folder, etc.

Friendly advice: Skyrim is much less forgiving than previous games as far as uninstalling certain types of mods. Mods that add or change scripts, for example, are pretty much impossible to get rid of completely without starting from a save before you installed them. Caution is good :)

I just installed those two mods. Is it too late to make a vanilla zip?
