Intel HD 3000?
Would I be able to play this game on my laptop which has intel hd 3000 graphics and 1.7 gbs of shared memory and an i3 processor?

I don't know. But Just Cause 2 is an unbelievably open-world game with beautiful graphics and it can run on a phone. I wish Skyrim would have used the same technology.

I believe Just Cause 2 was definitely the most under-rated game in 2012.

17 fps in low for an i3, almost unplayable. ->The benchmarks indicate that the game is not playable in the tested settings.

You can also search for HiAlgoboost on the Skyrim nexus site which helps with low framerate issues.

I used to play this game on the same set up you have.
Run it full screen, 1024x768 res, everything low but textures, it'll run perfectly fine.
