Any console command to delete static objects?
As you can see from this screenshot, my lakeview manor home has a small glitch. There's 2 plates ontop of each other. I didn't notice it until recently. Is there any console command to delete the bottom plate that anyone knows of?

just enter the command window and click the object you want gone. then type "disable". BE CAREFUL once you disable something IT'S GONE FOR GOOD.

with the item selected via mouse, type 'markfordelete' and optionally 'disable' afterwards. You can always keep backup saves before doing this stuff via 'save mytesthouse' in the console instead of using quicksave/load or Save (###) in the menu/keys.

If you use markfordelete (which completely deletes the object from your save) you dont need to use disable (hides it from view and makes it uninteractable).

Be aware though, both commands come with risks when used freely.

There is no way to undo the markfordelete command, and if you disable something and unselect it before you type enable (undoes disable) then you will never be able to select it again.
Markfordelete also should never be used on anything that has scripts attached, such as npcs or dynamic objects because then the script will throw out an error because it cant find the object in question.
Disable is generally safer because of that, but as it keeps the data in your save still, kinda pointless to use on something as simple as a plate XD

Just some extra info for you so know you know the risks if you start using them in other parts of your game

I use disable before using mark for delete as if I accidentally selected the wrong thing I can simply type enable and bring it back. So I disable then in the same command window while it is still selected I mark for delete to remove it completely from the save file.

Always save your game before performing either command. Then if things go terribly wrong you can just re-load. Remember Murphy's Law.

for some reason, neither commands work for me so I type "setscale 0"
which makes it still exist but so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ small you can't see it.

No need for console commands.

I know this is old now, but might be worth to reply. You can buy Hjerim cleanout from the city Steward. That will reset upstairs and remove the previous clutter.

Using the disable command, if the item is still selected, you can bring it back by typing the command "enable"

I want to make something clear:
If you disable something, you CAN enable it later even if you deselect it.

before deselecting something, write down it's ID number or take a screenshot.
If you later want to re-enable the object, type the following console commands

prid <id number>
enable

it will select and enable the object with the <id number> you entered.
