is it possible to get Ebony Mail without doing the quest?
becuase i want the armor but i do not want my character to be evil.

No, sorry no way to do that legit but you could spawn it in.

Well, the only way you might be able to obtain the item without doing the quest is by using the in-game console. Just simply type in "player.additem 00052794 1" without the quotations of course and it will appear in your inventory. Hope that helps!

Hmmm, I got my ebony armor from the smith =\ Simply bought it. No mods. Just the game with the DLC.

not "Ebony Armor" "Ebony Mail" and i crafted my "Ebony Armor"
edit: i also enchanted it and called it: "Armor of the Crimson Moon"
