Are we talking about a mechanical drive.SATAII,SATAIII, is iit configured as AHCI,or do you have an SSD disc?What version of Windows are you running?Has this happened any other time when trying to install software or games physically-disc- or through the internet?
.. How big is your harddrive and how much free space is left??
I've seen people 'hog wild' and suddenly found themsleves out of HD space.
Because if that is not the problem - then:
a. Skyrim needs to be re-install from scractch ...
b. your harddrive has a problem....
Hopefully that is the problem and you did not just find you have a bad harddrive.
At 750 GB, that would be one hell of an ssd. Windows has a defrag program included. It's under accessories/system tools. I think by not having a disc, he meant he doesn't have a skyrim disc.
