Jorrvaskr locked?

Been trying to do the Blood's Honor quest... killed all the witches, returned to Whiterun to find Aela and Torvar with some dead Silver Hand people. Try to enter Jorrvaskr to find Kodlak and finish the quest, but it keeps saying it's locked and cannot be picked! Help? Tried the console command to finish the quest and it's disappeared from my journal log completely now, Whiterun is still in the same state and I STILL can't get into Jorrvaskr :(

It is closed - you need to go into Jorravskr to finish witches quest ... That is all I will tell you.

1st -> save your game before you try this .. Just incase.

Tyep coc whiterunjorrvaskr that will get you in and then see if it's 'good to go'.

If that does NOT work - re-unlocks the game, I have no clue. You might need to restart that quest .. and see if it fixes it.

Type ~ to bring up the console
click on the door to Jorvaskr
type unlock
press enter
hit ~ again
????

Are you working on the Battle for Whiterun quest? The doors remain locked until you complete it and the following quest.

He is doing BLOOD HONOR - the "witches heads" to break the curse. IF I read correctly.

You can have more than one quest active at once...

I was doing Blood Honor, I'd started Battle for Whiterun but it wasn't active. I think I accidentally finished it by using console command though because all of a sudden, there's a new Jarl and Jorrvaskr is unlocked! New problem: I can't start Purity of Revenge. Wah.

Oh and I'm a girl btw ;)

Although, I've read around and apparently having Helm of Winterhold active interferes with both Blood's Honor and Purity of Revenge, so I've returned the Helm now.... Haven't tried Jorrvaskr yet, will see how it goes!
