Reunification of skyrim bug

Hey guys,

So i am having some issues with the regain the pale portion of the Reunification of skyrim quest. when i go to the imperial camp to start the quest Legate Rikke is no where to be found and the quest marker is pointing to the medic's tent of the camp. and it seems that there is nothing i can do to get Rikke to appear.

Things i have tried;
-Waiting at the spot for 24hours(ingame time)
-Restarting the game
-There was even a post that i read where i am supposed to go to General Tullius and ask him how the war is going *shrug*
-Installed the unoffical skyrim patch mod

so yeah i have no idea what to do i would like to complete the quest so any help would be awesome.

Try this when at camp........bring up console(the tide button)....player.placeatme 000198BB

I remember having something like that. I returned to Solitude, thinking that Rikke might still be there, but she was not. Then I went back to the camp, and she was there waiting for me.
Try to go somewhere else (not the camp), wait there for 24 hours and then travel to the camp. Maybe that would work.

i've tried that too no go i went to each of the camps(idk maybe she was there) nothing i even tried sleeping in one of the bed rolls :( she must not like me

Well, then try again what Trackie Dacks advised, but with 000D0573 instead of 000198BB and add 1 after that.

The first command worked and spawned rikke at me but she had no dialog for the quest, the second one kept giving me invalid object reference errors

Is it possible that a radiant quest is blocking rikke from appearing at the camp?

Were you in the camp when running the command? Some dialogue options are location-dependent.

I experienced this very recently and it drove me completely insane. I ended up spending in excess of 15 hours trying every one of the fixes I could find online. I tried them all, from getting Rikke to battle a dragon at the camp, killing all the imperial soldiers at the camp, using the cooking pot, speaking to the quartermaster, finishing all Winterhold quests and a bunch of others.

I ended up giving up and continuing playing the other quests, and about a week (10 hours of game play) later I decided to try Rikke again, and what do you know - the dialogue box finally showed up.

So if you're having trouble with this, I'd recommend if everything else fails - just keep playing all that you can in the mean time and return once a day or so to check back. I almost just packed the game away for good, so don't make that mistake, as it appears there is a good chance that it may rectify itself as you trigger other events in game.

@Meso Yeah i did the same gave up trying to figure the problem out, always trying to go back and see if it fixed itself. eventually i think what fixed it was the 1.9 patch for me, it must have reset something and then i was able to do the quest. Very weird bug lol

After starting the quest "The Fallen", Legate Rikke won´t give you option "Reporting for duty" until you defeat Alduin in Sovngarde.
