i don't know what quest is vilkas giving me!
hi guys, i'm stuck on the companions quest, i did "Take Up Arms" and "Trouble in Skyrim" and now i'm completely clueless to what to do now, everyone from the companions says i'm running a job for vilkas and even vilkas says that but none of them tell me what exactly, i consulted the wikis but i have like 50 quests active and i have no idea which one is from vilkas and the names don't seem to help, i can't find any match related to vilkas

Look at the titles of the quests, if the icons around it are wolves, it's a companion quest.

Where do you see the Icons? I only see Quests active/Completed with no icons.

Vilkas handles the quests involving tracking down and killing someone who has escaped from the guards or whatevs

...and will be in the Miscellaneous section. Just go do the ones that tell you to go kill someone and you'll eventually finish it, and perhaps clear out some of your outstanding bounties in the process.

I found it. It say's escaped criminal wandering "the Rift." Thx for the help.

OK, I found the job, escaped criminal in the Rift. It shows i's a completed quest, by not being highlighted, but the task with the small white diamond isn't colored in. Someone has got to have figured this out. It's boring walking around picking flowers for hours, lol.

I have the same problem as tberecz - My quest is to kill an escaped criminal in Winterhold (CR07). I did not complete it and yet its in the completed list but the diamond is not filled. So I tried the following:

first i used 'sys cr07' to check the quest stage and every stage was at zero.

Setstage - to set it to complete the quest or to any part of the quest, didn't work
Resetstage - to start the quest all over again, didn't work


I can't load to the time i started this quest because it's too far back and it had a bug in the first place (marker didn't appear to show the criminal location, that's when i 'force' the stage to be completed and end up here).

help?
