The Masque of Clavicus Vile vs. Rueful Axe

Anyone know off hand what is more useful The Masque of Clavicus Vile or Rueful Axe??

Rueful axe is the slowest battleaxe of the game and does not count for the oblivion walker achievment... But only weights 10. And why do you want to kill Barbas ?

The Masque of Clavicus Vile is better but only for the DT because the Rueful Axe is as slow as a cow but doesn't pack that much of a punch.

I'd go with the Masque, being one of the more unique looking pieces of headgear in the game, and even tho you don't wear helms/heavy armor, still handy to keep in your inventory for speech checks/lower prices. The axe is dispensable, i'd only pick it for aesthetic or roleplaying purposes.

The Masque is awesome enough to make not killing Barbas worth it. Plus as they said the Masque counts for Oblivion Walker while the Rueful Axe does not

They give you a option to kill Barbas and my thinking was.... well why would that be an option if the mask was an good... I guess I am thinking to much into it.... Thanks for the help.
