Argonian tail armor, vanilla or BAT?

Im thinking about creating a tail armor piece for the daedric mercenary armor project (not a retexture of the tail, a piece of armor).

So first of all, what are your thoughts about this? Is this something you would like to see?

And second, should this be made for the vanilla sized version of the tail, or the BAT mod (bigger argonian tails)? What do you guys use?
