Acquired Daedric armor through battle
Hey y'all! I stuck to the warriors path to beat Alduin, so I didn't have enough perks to reach Level 90 on Conjuration. Nor did I activate the Daedric smithing perk (it's the only perk in my smithing tree I haven't touched yet). But after battling so many cursed revered dragons I've acquired a daedric armor for myself. I have lots of associated weapons. I'm just lacking a shield and boots. I even have 12 daedra hearts in storage. But at level 69 I'm fine and dandy without perking up to those requirements. I'll still work on my conjuration to ge the Sigil Stone. But I'm no longer in a rush to achieve that.

There is a bug in getting the Daedric boots through the forge, so follow these instructions from the UESP wiki: The bug can be fixed through use of console commands. Type player.removeitem f1abd 1 to remove the invisible boots, and player.additem 1396a 1 to add the actual Daedric Boots.

I'm in no real rush to have a full daedric set right now. I've finished acquiring Volendrung and still have 10 daedric hearts left. Thanks anyway. I just wanted to declare how I didn't have to go the long route just to get those vaunted things. I can't smith the unique daedric weapons like Dawnbreaker to the max yet, but I'm strong enough now to not rely on them anymore. Ironically, after getting Volendrung I re-enconuntered the Old Orc and put him down easy. The next day (Skyrim time) I met a boxing Orc and put him down too with my fists.

Hi all! I decided to go back a few levels before I defeated Alduin. I wasn't advancing fast enough anymore in other skills at Level 71. But now I'm taking the smithing route to Daedric armor. It's amazing how fast you can go if you just work on it. I go adventuring for precious gems and possible weapons to either modify, enchant, and later sell. I get extra money to pay the smith trainers when I feel I can afford it that way. I use the transmuation spell to change iron ore into either silver or gold when I have the right gems to make a significant item. But if you're the kind that's made or collected lower levels items for smithing, just work on those in-between. If you've collected enough soul gems to work on your enchanting skill that will be big help in the future. I plan to achieve double enchantment after I defeat Alduin. I'll have one badass armor to fight off those damn vampires in the Dawnguard DLC.

It all adds up and you can clear out your chest of obsolete stuff in the process. That's good for because I've disabled the Heathfire and Dawnguard DLCs. I've become the Thane to the three Holds where I can buy land. When I move my stuff out it won't be so much trouble because I'll have less items to move.

I normally make my daedric armor at the college of winter hold using Ebony Armor/Weaponry Black soul gems, sigil stone, and Dwemer Centureons Gyros. Most of the time I just run with Glass Armor (light armor), by saving that Daedric smithing perk, I can use it for my 1/5 slots for One handed, Archery, etc.

The College was initially where I could get the armor because I kept using conjuration. But after I decided to go back a few levels the smithing route was faster. I do want to get the Sigil Stone again because it's just fun bashing the heck out of that daedra.
