Can't Increase Smithing Training

I am level 17 and level 49 in smithing. I went to Riften to train, clicked the train button five times, money removed yet my smithing level is still 49. I've tried from the last two saves and it's still broke. Ugh maybe one of my auto saves is toast. Gonna try deleting those to see if this fixes it. I have coin to spend silly game, let me train! LOL!

I have a problem in Whiterun (numerous Glitches found there).

The Khajjiiti Traders come and set up shop, tents etc, but are no where to be found! Probably having a secret Skooma party...I can't figure that out either..

Probably just a corrupt spawn...Ahh, some of the tiny Glitches can be bloody annoying LOL

I deleted all three auto saves and the smithing is now working...odd. I just realized I have not seen the first dragon since Whiterun Watch Tower at the beginning! Esh! I haven't visited Delphine yet in Riverwood to get the horn from her. Maybe that is why???

Haven't seen anymore cult peeps either since the original two I got the letter from. I am starting to think this current character is toast...sigh.....

I have the same problem with the tents and no occupants. I really should have seen at least one dragon by now without going to a mountain. I've been sneaking all over Skyrim stabbing everyone I meet on the road in the back, LOL! I am trying to be a vampire assassin. I'm not a Lord yet, just infected level 4 and no one hates me..... :)

If you want the souls type in the console player.modav dragonsouls 95. That will give you 95 Dragon Souls and Dragons seem to find you. There are some locations with Dragons but usually there is a stone that if you unlock the word of power you consume the soul you just gained.

I started using this command because I kept fast traveling to find Dragons. Morthal and Riften are good spots for a Dragon to show up if you use fast travel. I got tired of doing that.

Thanks for the console command but I rather enjoy fighting the dragons. :) I use to run into them like mad near Honeybrew Meadery on another character. I don't even see they flying around anywhere which is very very odd. I may need to just trash this one and give it another go with a new character.

I don't use mods so that isn't the issue. Grrrr....

Go and visit Delphine and she will set you on the path finding more dragons. She even gives you a map.

Visit the taverns in the holds you visit and ask about rumours or jobs. Sometimes they have a bounty letter for dragons and give the location of its lair.

Yeah I know I can find them on word walls. Just miss seeing them flying around. I have decided this character for whatever reason is bugged. I just received the Detect Life spell. I can hold down my mouse button and just keep leveling up! WTH? Even though I am out of magika it just keeps going as long as I hold the button down. Sigh...time to delete this character and begin again.
