Failed at Marriage

Hello folks,
Yesterday I tried to get the Marriage thing going but arrived too late on Wedding.. now i get no second change.
I tried to fix it by loading up a earlier gamesave but even with loading the earlier save the NPC refuses to speak with me about Marriage process... is this a Bug? (if so some info required) or is it a build in Game mechanic..??

If you missed the wedding then you have to wait a few hours before your partner-to-be will agree to attempt the wedding again. You need to then speak to Maramal and arrange this, then wait another day and get to the wedding on time.

Roscaria, that what happened but i didnt knew i had to wait a few hours, so i loaded a older savegame to get trough the process again..
But the difference is that the 1th time i got trough the talks and bought a necklace.. and second time (after loading older savegame) it dint worked... and thats why i asked if this was a bug (directed to stoogmaster)

Wear the Mara necklace. Get permission at the temple then Wait in the temple for the required time. Everyone will turn up and you will not get into any trouble.

Just a random question but how do you even get to that in Skyrim? I've been trying to figure out how to get married in Skyrim for a while now...

You go to the Temple of Mara in Riften and buy an Amulet of Mara which you wear. You strike up a friendship with potential partners bycompleting favours for them (or may have already done so in the past). They will comment on your Amulet of Mara and you take it from there.

Ah, thank you. I got the amulet but he hasn't said anything yet... Do I just keep trying to talk to him? I already helped him with an event and talked to him many times. Are students at the College of Winterhold available for marriage?

I've done that so yes. My dark elf married the other dark elf new student. I thought it odd, because even though you didn't sleep in the same bed, sleeping at Winterhold still got you lover's confort while you stayed at the college.

Once I've missed a wedding then hit on another girl and called a halt to getting married to her. Now I want the first girl back so I went to the temple, apologised Maramal and then my first fiance. I got back to the temple to say that she's ok with my proposal but Maramal still says that I have to talk to my fiance. Could you please help me guys? Thx in advance
