Inventory mod without SKSE?
SkyUI without a doubt is the best one out there for inventory management. Though it stops there. I can't use other mods because of SKSE like enhancing textures, landscapes etc.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why would SKSE not work with them?

skse works with everything , never had an issue , it just needs to be the version thats compatible with the version of the game your using

I think he is trying to not have to rely on the SKSE.

I know how he feels....I used to use a script extender on my fall out games....made my game horribly unstable....and it was a nightmare when things needed up grading.....new version of SKSE was incompatible with older mods....or new mods needed the newer SKSE thus forcing me to mess around for hours upgrading.

All the while my games started having random crashes....and performance going to the floor.

The entire time the SKSE team said it wasnt their fault....the mods desingers said it wasnt their fault.....but those where the culprits....

Now with skyrim i dont use any script extenders...and have zero instability or crashes....instead i have a fun game.

And the mods i use are lot more well designed...because the people who made them...made it so i dont need everything else...so i can simply deactivate with no issue....with the game simply saying....you are no longer using this item.

I think your problem was using Skyrim Script Extender with a Fallout game :P

I honestly have no clue why some people seem to have major gripes with SKSE, i've been using it for ages, have over 180 mods installed, and have no issues, what so ever.

Why do people hate it so much? Is it because it takes a small amount of effort to install? They can't just double click a button and have everything done for them.

How are you able to use mods that do not use SKSE whilst loading the game through SKSE? Those mods require the main game, not SKSE.

...what?

I wanted a neat inventory to organise potions etc and someone recommended SkyUI which was more than enough but it requires SKSE and to load the game through that. Now suppose I wanted to improve Skyrim with mods, in the mod description it won't say it uses SKSE because most mods don't.

How are you able to use those mods with SKSE and have SkyUI.

Dude, lol, SKSE isn't some kind of alternate version of Skyrim. You can use mods that don't need SKSE with it perfectly fine.
Snake Apr 26, 2013 @ 8:01pm
Maybe Im not getting it or you're not. lol

I just want a mod to organise things like potions etc instead of scrolling around looking for that one potion. Fortunately there are a few so I got that covered.

Second is clothing, switching between a set of armor, thief etc and having them as presets. That I can't find anywhere.

Wait, first you were asking how to use mods that don't need SKSE with SKSE, and now you're asking about some armor mod? You're right, I have no idea what you're talking about.
Snake Apr 26, 2013 @ 8:07pm
Not an armor mod. A mod that makes it easier to equip certain attires. Like a set for full armor. Another for Thief. Without having to click individual item of clothing.
