can't sprint

I haven't played this game since 2011 and just reinstalled it. I had no idea you can sprint. However, when I hold sprint it doesnt do anything. Same thing with the horse, I can't get it to gallop. Anyone know whats up?

Tried rebinding your 'sprint' key?

Also, sprinting consumes stamina. Just so you know.

Remember always you have two key for running, one you can push one time and run always or the other, you need to keep pushed to run...

I've tried rebinding the key and nothing. I've tried holding sprint while already running, while walking, etc. I can't think of what else to do. No one else ever had a glitch like this?

caps lock toggles walk and jog. Check your controls you might have mapped it to a different button too.

OK guys, this is not operator error here. Sprint is mapped to alt and it doesn't work

same for me i also tried a xbox controler and it wont change the crouch mode and i can also not sprint

check the options? See if the sprint key was changed.

Sprint has always been a little buggy for me with the PC version. Try looking for a bug fix mod and see if that helps?

I know this is a super old post but if anyone needs a fix make sure the toggle always run is on as you need to run and sprint at the same time. :)
