Mod(s) Caused Death
A general question. I have quite a few mods installed (perhaps to many) that otherwise seem to be working smoothly together. That is, until after a few minutes no matter where I am or what I am doing my character will suddenly die without cause. My question is, are there general changes that can cause this? I.e. do weight tinkering mods mixed with certain texturing mods cause random death? I am pretty novice when it comes to mod understanding so I am curious if someone knows if there is a way to pinpoint the exact mod(s) that are cause the problem and remove it(them) without have to manually remove and test each one.

All comments are appreciated.

One culprit could be Frostfall-Hypothermia, Caused me a ton of problems lately. 30 seconds walking in the snowy mountains sarrounding windhelm and you are dead due to frezzing, and building damn tent doesnt help. That is the only mod I know that can cause instant death. Other than that I would guess you got poisend by something(charus poiesn is the worst). Cheak your active effects as stated above.

Mods do not cause death if they are incompatible, they cause CTDs. Most likely it's a mod like Frostfall or Realistic Needs or Imp's More Complex Needs, mods which WILL kill you if you do not play it smart. Having active effects will only effect stamina regen, carry weight, magicka or how good you are at lockpicking/pickpocketing (to name a few), and being poisoned will only kill you if in combat, not just walking around if I'm correct, as posion from a Chaurus or a Frostbite Spider is like their attacks, it drains your health by a certain number and will leave an active effect, like Ataxia or Rattles (Spider - Chaurus, respectively).

Thanks for the responses guys. I checked again after looking at your responses and the most confusing part about the problem was that there were no indicators of death at all, no ill effects. I also have not installed any Needs or realism mods that cause death. I have been able to fix the issue by finding a reload from before I installed all the mods and that seems to have done the trick. I can only conclude that there was some weird glitch affecting me. Again I appreciate your help with finding a solution.

Players tend to make some mistakes when adding mods, usually ones that conflict. This guide should help you work past that safely.
