Palace of the Kings fail
So i just completed the Civil war thing. And i joined the imperial side... I just killed Ulfric and i am out question and doing other stuff for about a week in skyrim. And i return to windhelm - Palace of the Kings and i see that there are high up people in there from other towns, like dawnstar, which are known to like the stormcloak hence they are in Windhelm. And for some reason, even tho ulfric is dead, they still come there and eat. And While eating they are saying piss things to me, and say that Legion is a bunch of jerks. Kinda funny how they are IN legion territory stealing their food and insulting them.

They are the defeated leaders of the stormcloaks and of course they are not friendly to you for depossing them but see the jarls right hand man for work

They are there as political prisoners, exiled nobles, disposed Jarls or whatever you prefer to call. It's not an alien concept. Think house arrest.

It's a shame they don't hang them or behead them like the gate guard who let Ulfric escape in the first part. I mean that -is- the Imperial way isn't it?

edit: A gallows would be perfect!

Because that guard wasn't a Jarl.

They were still going to behead Ulfric and everyone who followed him. I think they should be moved to the prison not let to live in any form of luxury. >.> I should learn to mod so I can make it a condition that upon defeat they're moved into cells in the Solitude dungeon. Sure Windhelm -might- work but why take the risk some local sympathizer won't sneak one out!

edit: I'll have to see about trying my hand at that If I can ever get my mod problem resolved.

But why put these exiled jarls in the new Legion hold? It makes little sense to me.

Makes as much sense as joining the side of the people who were about to murder you 10 seconds after it was pointed out that you committed no crime.

BTW, guards do react to NPCs committing crimes, so if they were stealing food the 2 guards in the room would attack them. That can be interpreted as they are supposed to be there.

Yeah i know they are not stealing food, but i consider it stealing since they are eating food in the house of a Legion Jarl when they hate him.

All prisoners hate their captors, they still go to chow when the cell door opens. To consider it stealing because they don't want to be imprisoned is a leap of failed logic that I don't believe I'm qualified to respond to.

I fail hard to see how logic it is to take over Windhelm and remove the title of the Jarls that supported the stormcloacks and give them food, a BIG house they can roam around freely. What did go wrong? Why not dehead them? In prison them? or exile them? Not open doors for them, give them food and listen to their hate everyday... It makes little to no sense to me!
And the stealing part was an awful joke i made, since i got ♥♥♥♥ humor.
