Defeating Miraak - Disappearance Bug Solved: Without Restart, lighter attacks, etc.
Now, I would like to be as simple and as "spoilerproof" as possible, for I have spent about 2 hours on this "glitch":

Dragons are flying above, you are a mighty Dragonborn with huge power and Miraak is just getting squished like a bug in a few attacks. He has become ethereal with the dragon soul he absorbed then, you kill the other dragon with your "tamed dragon" and you kill Miraak once again, and...?

He's gone... Teleported... Whoosh, etc.

You don't know if you've killed him, if you have, you can't see him so you can't loot him, the quest does not end, you can not get teleported, therefore, you are just on a floating piece of enchanting rock with three dragon skeletons.

SOLUTION:

* If your quest is selected (At The Summit of Apocrypha), then you will still see the quest marker on your map. If not, select your quest, from the journal to toggle a marker.
First SCENARIO:
* There he is, far away and unseen. So, open the command tab and write TLC. After you press Enter, you see Collission: Off. Close the command tab.
* Run towards the marker. You will see our guy, floating on air, stiff. He will look dead. Search him and loot him.
* When facing him, open command tab, once again, click on his head (mask) and when you see his ID, write ResetHealth.
* He will still be stiff but, with full health. Kill him and he will get teleported.

Where?

Underneath the center pool.

Run back and run underneath ground, underneath the center pool. You will see him, stupidly stiff, with something black on his head.

Open command tab, click on him once again and write resurrect 1 (that is resurrect(SPACE)1, do NOT forget SPACE BAR!)

He will resurrect.

Now try to kill him again and watch the scene. The scene may have 3D problems, glitches, out of scale visuals etc, but, Miraak will be killed finally and most importantly, the quest will "formally" end. The rest? Well 95% of you know this game better than me...

I hope this helps. With this solution, you do not have to de-install the DLC, do not have to restart the quest, do not have to think about lighter attacks and do not have to do that "interesting" dragon fight once again, or get a tutorial.

Peace.

will this also work with having Miraak becoming invisible after absorbing the first dragon soul? just curious cause thats whats happing to me, ive tried just beating the livin crap out of him with using just my fists but after he teleports to the center and defeats the first dragon and takes its soul, he becomes invisible and stays there, i cant attack him or anything.

He becomes ethereal, that's why you can't attack him, however, if you can conjure a decoy (anything that a dragon would attack), conjure it, make it attack Miraak and then ride your tamed dragon. When the other dragon, lands to attack your decoy/puppet/conjured one/revenant, press E to land your dragon and quickly run to the other dragon and kill him (the dragon and Miraak if he becomes physical). This will make Miraak disappear or make him "physical". Either way, you'll reach my scenario. Please know that this all happens according to the artificial intelligence of the software, therefore, I talk flexibly. Using Dragonrend on the other dragon did not make him land in my example, so I had to use a decoy to make him attack it while I am riding my "tamed dragon".

I know it sounds complicated, but it is better than uninstalling a whole dlc, or restarting the quest with bare fists and not getting it right, even.

Just wanted to say this thread helped me.
I was hella confused because when i was fighting miraak he seemingly just "ran away" and i found him all the way over at the spawn area of walking dreams.
I walked over to him with tcl and when i got close he teleported again back to his arena, however this time he was dead for seemingly no reason.

I couldn't finish the quest because he was dead technically and i could loot his body.
Using the resurrect command fixed it and i was able to kill him.

I was expecting an epic battle but got this buggy mess instead.
(oh btw i'm playing the special edition of skyrim)
