Blindingly bright, washed out visuals
For the past day or so for some reason the graphics in-game seem to constantly have a vision altering shader applied that makes everything ridiculously bright and desaturated. It was fine just two days ago (as can be seen in link 1) but now it's blindingly bright to the point that even dark dungeons and overcast nights are washed out (as seen in links 2 and 3)

link 2 (taken at 1am in-game on an overcast night after I became stuck with this glitch)

link 3 (taken at noon, it's like this whether it's snowing, raining, sunny or overcast)

I've tried switching to windowed, turning off FXAA, using refini, changing the resolution, etc but nothing helps. Older savegames don't have the problem but stupidly I haven't been using multiple save slots and the only other savegame I have for this level 54 character is at level 6....d'oh.

I read somewhere that this is caused by some vision shader applied during a quest, which can become "stuck" and doesn't get removed when it's supposed to, but I can't find anything telling me how to fix it.

I haven't installed any new mods, removed any mods, installed any new DLC or changed my settings inbetween the period that the screenshots above were taken.

WOW, that's funny..not the same on my comp...Have you tried looking for updates for your visual mods? Could be that....

I let the launcher check for updates most times I launch the game, and the only visual mods I'm using are Pure Waters, Better Dynamic Snow, Towns & Cities Enhanced and the High Res Texture Pack. All of which say they're up to date.

Use ENB much?

Nope, never tried it, though I've seen lots of lovely screenies of it.

Edit: I just found a command for the console that enables me to get around this problem, but it completely disables most advanced graphics features like blur, contrast adjustment, etc so I don't want to have to gimp my game's graphics settings like that when it was working fine two days ago.

How about using ENB? I think this has something to do with night-eye visual effect or something similar, and ENB overwrite those.

I'll see if there's a way to remedy it without adding more mods first, but yeah I'll try that if all else fails.

This looks a whole lot like you have a night vision effect enabled. You don't have any night vision mods do you? Like a long lasting or toglle on-off one?

EDIT: Sry, I am apparently slow on that one...

You know, now that you come to mention it, I think I do have night-eye toggle installed, but I'm not even playing a character with night eye. I'll try disabling the mod.

Check your gear for nightvision enchantments :D

Well wouldn't you know it, it was a night-eye toggle mod. After disabling it and loading the game, I fired off both vampre lord night-eye powers while in a dungeon and while it messed my vision up while I was inside, it seems to have fixed itself now I'm out.
