Battle for Windhelm>>>>>>>

Hello every one, my question today is: What happens to Windhelm after the battle? Let me explain. I've finish the Battle for Windhelm (on Imperial side) and gone on with other quest, but I had to return to city, it's still not rebuilt and I can't fast travel to it because it's no longer on map (although I can fast travel to burn out stable). The rest of the cities are partialy to completly rebuild...Question...Does Windhelm get rebuilt via Skyrim or is there a mod that does it via a quest? The place is in real dire looks more like Berlin after the Second War right now, could use rebuilding ASAP... Thank you

I don't know of any mods that rebuild it (though I'm sure there is at least one out there), but I do know that Windhelm does NOT get rebuilt in the vanilla game. Same thing with Whiterun. Also the same thing with Solitude if you side with the Stormcloaks. Very disappointing. I hate seeing such beautiful cities destroyed like that. I kind of wish you could fund projects to rebuild the cities. Especially Whiterun. I hate how I went on that quest and got the Gildergleam looking all nice and purty, then those damn rebels destroy the wooden lattice around it.

Didn't do anything....Once the battle finish, buildings on fire, rubble everywhere, stable with no horses and no carriage, Duh! are we talking about the same town? The Imperials and Stormcloaks made a real mess of that city.

as far as i know, the cities will be resored, means no fire all NPCs will be back etc, some stuff will lay around some houses will be broken but taht wont be changed until you start a new game

There is a mod . I have it dl'd, but not started it up to restore it back to it;s glory. I just finished the civil war. So i will check it to load soon and fix it up. It also fixes up any other city destroyed by civil war.

Yes, I wasn't specific enough. As NightCore said, the fires will go out and people will return to their normal lives. But there will still be quite a bit of rubble in the streets, especially in Windhelm. In fact, I know of a pile that just happens to be over a guard idle spot. So you'll usually see a guard standing waist-deep inside a solid stone block. I think that bugs me more than anything about Windhelm's destruction. But Whiterun is the one that gets me most. It's such a nice city, and then it just gets completely messed up by the rebels.

There is in fact on mod that rebuilt some towns and cities, can't remember the name but it didn't rebuilt Windhelm...The mod is in Towns and Cities (I think)

It gets fix by the same mod.

Windhelm does get rebuilt. After the war i went back to it 2 days later and it was rebuilt. I was with the Imperials
