The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
What do you wish was in skyrim that was from the other TES games?
So, I decided to make a thread asking people what they want in skyrim that was from the other elder scrolls games. I, for one, wish that there was more hidden quests all throughout skyrim.

I remember back in Oblivion I walked into this one house that was empty and trashed, I searched around to see if I could find anything and on a plate was a letter that started this cool quest where I had to go into a cave and kill a storm atronach that the guy who owned the house I found had worshipped as a god. He turned up dead in the cave but I got a bunch of saphires from his corpse.

This is what I wish was in skyrim, just walking around and suddenly you find something that leads to a cool quest. I've walked around all of skyrim trying to find quests like that and all I'm able to find are places that look cool or interesting but don't have any quests associated with them.

So what do you guys miss or wish was in skyrim?

A northern species of silt strider would make my life in Skyrim complete.
There is some quest that you can start with just reading a random book, or finding a journal in skyrim. or a note on a dead guy.
Martin Septim. Also Glarthir.
Forget the fact we were talking about quests and stuff.
I want Martin back. Take Delphine and GIVE ME MARTIN.
Yeah, I miss Martin. I almost cried when I beated Oblivion. And Glarthir was just psychotic but I loved his quests
Skyrim in a way is a bit more down to earth than previous installments of Elder Scrolls.

Back in morrow wind I remember a specific event that happened that was so random that I laughed out loud but still enjoyed it.

Walking along then suddenly I hear screaming from above. Look up and a guy is falling from the sky. Dies on impact. I search his body and he was using some ability to send himself flying. Used the ability myself and died on landing and had to revert.

Loved this kind of random stuff.

Don't get me wrong. I still think skyrim is by far the best installment of Elder Scrolls. I just wish more random stuff would happen.
Oh yeah that happened to me too, it was so funny when that happened. I was walking along the coast of the starting area and then a body drops from the sky and lands right in front of me. He had a scroll or two that allowed me to fly through the air, but I died on impact with the ground lol.

In my opinion, the thing that makes me not like skyrim as much as I used to is that I started playing Morrowind and Oblivion again and then I realized that Skyrim just didn't seem as large as Morrowind or Cyrodyll (I think I spelled it wrong). I mean it took me longer to get from point A to point B in those games than it did in Skyrim.

Just me opinion, anyone else feel this way?
There is one thing missing in Skyrim...a writable journal... Some quest in the misc section, if not done right away, you may have some difficulties in remembering what they are...If you could open your journal (personal) you could write down the facts, another thing; spells, potions and posions recipies would be a good place to place them... Just a tought... Or bring back the flying gryphons, those were ansome.... One more thing, use this journal has a address book, houses, mansions, wives(mother-in-law) etc...Thank you

Hope it was sarcasm :p Bandits in daedric. After the 1 (or 2?) armor set in Morrowind. "Facepalm".

More clothing slots.

You are correct, in Oblivion you can not move without running into some lowlife in full daedric. It's in Morrowind you have to beat an old (and tough) wizard or join the Telvanny house to get your hands on a full suit of daedric (IIRC). The difference was jarring.

Sorry for being unclear, probably my English is striking again :)

Oh, you, stop trolling the Russian gamer ^^. I did not like that very rare armor was in such quantity in Oblivion after you have to search every corner of Morrowind to get it :p Actually the all leveling system in Oblivion was not to my liking.
