Right click bug
So after being gone from Skyrim for a while, I decided to redownload. I noticed right away that my right click seems to spam itself or otherwise not work while I'm just holding it down. This makes using magic on the right hand almost impossible, and dual casting rarely works.

With the fresh download my controls for left/right handwere even reversed. Left was M2, right was M1, so I reset my keybind defaults but no matter what the right click is very bugged.

This never happens in anything I play, and it didn't even used to happen when I played before. It only started now that I've redownloaded. No mods, only the high res & dawnguard dlc are downloaded.

M1 right and M2 left is the default as far as my game is concerned.

With regard to the right click spamming, are you playing on a laptop and have any of those annoying mousepad helper apps running?

On my person gaming pc, no weird programs running, just Steam. I have a Naga, along with Synapse 2.0 and it's telling me it's an up-to-date driver.

Have you added any USB devices since you last played Skyrim? Do you play any other games where there is a requirement to hold down the rmb and does the button perform as it should? Long shot, have you inadvertently activated the accessibility function (sticky keys)?

An additional thought, is the profile for the mouse correct (not using the wrong Synapse profile that has a macro assigned to rmb if that is possible with a Naga/Synapse)?

No usb devices, just mouse & keyboard. I haven't noticed any problems in any other games (Smite, Starcraft 2, Minecraft, etc..), and I turned sticky keys off back when I first made my PC.

As for the Synapse profile, it's bare bones, I didn't bother editing it, only turned off the logo light.

I think you are going to have to reinstall and just keep saves....

Didn't work, same thing is happening. I used the delete local content thing on Steam, should I manually delete every file?

I guess I'll try to figure out how to delete every Skyrim file and redownload from there.

Well it's still happening after a completely fresh install. I'm not sure what to do now..

I appreciate that you do not experience the problem with other games. However to fully discount the mouse, do you have a "boring" old mouse to use instead to see if the problem persists.

it is 100% not the mouse, same thing has happened to me

I found some old hp mouse, and the same exact thing happens, right click is still all buggy. Any other ideas?

I find it weird this happens only after I've taken a break from it. Before when I first bought the game, this never happened and it all worked great. :(
