Anyone else agree Oblivion had better Gaurds? They took their job so serious dispatching an entire imperial legion to hunt you down to the ends of the earth for stealing a fork. Following you to the depths of Oblivion to bring justice.

Skyrim guards are a bit of a pushover. They have some good dialouge but they aren't very good at their job. They mostly spout off that cancerous meme. Should be a crime in game to say that line.

Oblivion had more humor in it. The guards "loved" the Grey Fox. "You should have paid the fine!" "Well, look who we have here!" "Why won't you die?!" "You...you're the Grey Fox! Your wanted for all kinds of stuff!" "You're wanted dead or alive!" "I'm guessing dead!" Or if you steal a horse; "Hey, put that back!" Or if you killed one of their horses; "Help!" "There's a maniac on the loose!" Calling for help and they are the "help"! Priceless.

Never played oblivion, but with info like this, it is becoming a must do game for me.

I'd yield if I were you, the Animations all over the game are Jerky at best and will turn you off, and have the annoying "Zoom-up-to-face" dialogue start.

I had no issues with Oblivion. I think its a great game, especially if you play it before Skyrim. Having said that, play Morrowind first, then the next in order. "Go hurt something!"

Already have played Morrowind. I just got it recently to replay it. I haven't played it since it came out.The gaurds in that game are kinda lifeless very little dialouge, But they are way stronger then skyrim guards. They have made the guards weaker every game. Skyrim guards are weaklings. I once saw a skyrim guard get killed by horkers lol. I had a guard chasing me around Dawnstar I ran by a horker pack and 4 horkers ganged up on the guard and killed him.

The olderr graphics aspect won't turn me off. i play many games older than me. Some are even DOS only. I think the game play sounds interesting.
BTW, I am only 124 years young.
