Werewolf bug makes it useless

I enter werewolf form, kill one guy, and then promptly go back to human form before I'm even done feeding. What gives? This can't be the way it was designed to work. If it was, it's the most useless power ever.

I always have to hit T and wait to get out of beast form, even just eating a few folks the beast form lasts longer than I need.

There is a bug that if you kill and eat to quickly you will revert form, just try not eating the first few guys you kill and its no problem.
I dont know if thats the bug you have, but try it.
What happens if you dont feed?

If I don't feed right away it lets me continue as normal. The problem is I usually shift, kill the guy, and then feed, which triggers the bug. It seems to go against my normal flow of gameplay to wait to feed on him.
