Why kill Miraak?

Its one thing I dont get. Why is Miraak the main villian? he is the dragonborn that tried to defy the dragons, but was defeated, so why is he now the bad guy?

It all seems to be just Hermaeus Mora that is playing games, Miraak is trying to kill The Dragonborn to be free of fate, but in the end he loses that and have no longer the freedom of Hermaeus Mora.
Why cant the Dragonborn just offer assistance to defy Hermaeus Mora and make Miraak free? Miraak is arogant as hell, but after a good beating I am sure he will know hos the boss.

In the storyline I havent come upone anny indication that he is that bad, no destroy Nirn like Alduin.
He did send some cultist to kill you, but thats not that horrible of a deed, and no actual prof that it was him, it might be Hermaeus Mora that wanted to get the dragonborn to come to the island.

He do enslave people, but thats not really hurting them, they just gets a bit exhausted and so, I can think of allot worse enslavment that other human/elves do to eatch other.

Yes it is, but considering the rule of the black books, you can read it once to get there, and read it again to return home.

But that might be only by the blessing of Mora, Dont know if he can stop it.

I think Bethesda decided to not have it in the game, as some other stuff like killing kids.

at least you should be able to spank the brats. It isn't like it present day morals. And gambling isn't as bad as blood and killing.

I think the last option.
but Bloodlust is a valid reason to kill all enemies too. and Miraak is a strong oponent.
And Mora is manipulating Miraak so he cant see another option.

He is talking allot about fate, and Mora is the prince of fate.

Not good. I understand that the Hero always was, is and will be an attractive bait to daedric princes, but to have such an interest in current one. Not good at all. Being warned about a possible troubles a lot and then playing through consequences of bad decisions. Well, Daedra in this game is a lot more... unpleasant than in the previous 2.

Its when you die that the truble starts. It makes you think, every time you die in the game, tecnicaly what hapens then is that you become a servant for eternity for said deadra.

Good thing that I am a vampire in my game, :)

Vampire - servant of Molag Bal. Will have to refresh my knowlege and choose a more pleasant plane and then make Dragonborn start to worship the master of a said plane :) Wait a sec! Sovngard! They promissed a place no matter what! On the other hand all that eating and endless figthing and some unpleasant persons that get there with Dragonborn's help...

But I dont know that, if servant equals ethernal servant, Molag bal is the said creator of vampires, and allot of them worship him. I cant recal anny direct statment that you has to serve forever.

And about Sovngarde, it has been stated that Deadra can have first pick, as with the case of Hircine, if you are a werewolf and dies you will be drawn to hircine and the ethernal hunt. even if you desire Sovngard.

o, the common mistake, Absolute power does not equal absolute evil. (it do however means that you can do allot of bad stuff with that power)
