Hello Skyrim players, what do you think is, as the title says, the best looking light and heavy armor and the best one overall? I like the Daedric armor alot^^

As far as the vanilla armors go, definitely Ebony armor for the heavy stuff, and glass for the light. As for mods, i REALLY enjoy the light and heavy versions of the Bosmer Armor, and Royal Elven Armor (Black and red elven armor).

For vanilla armors, I will go with:

Light:
Thieves Guild Master Armor

Heavy:
Steel Plate Armor.

Dragonscale is light armor and has the best armor rating in the game after using the perks on the light armor tree,- approx 1350 armor rating

I fawor Ebony armor, or as light I use vampire armor.
I dont really bother about armor ratings, as I am a badass smith and enchanter,
The armor ratings cap at about 400-500 somewhere, at max 80% protection.

Stahlrim looks pretty neat.

For light armor, either Dragonscale or Nightingale. I rarely use heavy, but Ebony and good old fashioned steel are very nice.

For mages, I love the Thalmor robes, especially the hoodless ones like Ancano wears since I can wear a circlet or something with them.

The modded Scout Armour and Nomo's Ranger Armour are both excellent light armour pieces. I am also a huge fan of some of the remade imperial armour in a Roman style.

Bosmer Armor (mod), mostly because it looks like the armor the elves wore in Lord of the Ring's Battle of the Last Alliance. As far as heavy armor goes, bad or not, iron just looks awesome.

I'm a fan of Nightingale or Vampire Lord armor for light, currently both at about 492, and Daedric for heavy currently at 784.

I'm a huge fan of the Nordic Carved Armor
