Skyrim character not moving and keyboard unresponsive
Hello all

As the title says when I load up SKYRIM LE via votex with skse and start , my character will only sheathe and unsheathe weapon and look around. He cannot move in any direction. The other NPC'S are not affected.

I cannot use the keyboard for anything either as pressing escape or any button doesn't do anything. Only the windows button will get me out to vortex and windows again.

A previous save results in same condition. I started playing SKYRIM SE about a week ago and suddenly this happened.

Has anyone experienced this before or come across this , I do not use a controller just mouse and keyboard.

I tried uninstalling skyrim and reinstalled and it work normally again on different saves. When I played Special Edition the same thing happened ? Game starts . character wont move , no A or T posing just can't move and other npc's unaffected.

Currently I have Skyrim LE uninstalled but will attempt to install and see if I can resolve this again. I have read this happened someone before but they didn't get any resolution.

I am level 50 and over 367 hours into legendary playthrough.

lightly modded also.

I would appreciate any help or suggestions or where to look for guidance to resolve this.

go to settings and untick the controller

I'll give it a go. I'll report back to you if it works. Hoping it can be this simple.

go into skyrimprefs.ini and enable the gamepad. couldnt get the keybaord working either

I never used a gamepad . Always used mouse and keyboard. I play it on PC. I think it has to do with me installing Special Edition and then playing Skyrim LE.

I have a few things I will try. Currently has it uninstalled but will try in a few weeks and see if I can get it going. I'll write back if I get a solution. I found some stuff online about keyboard being disabled for some people all of a sudden. Keep in touch mate
