The Mysterious Death Of Aela the Huntress

Very strange. I was on the last part of the Companion Quest where you go with the Circle to return the Re-Forged Axe to it's owner and free the dead Kodlak of the wolf spirit in him. All the others following me in the Temple dropped out except Aela who kept following me. She evidently ran out of arrows because she drew her sword, but stopped helping in the fights. Once I had destroyed the Wolf Spirit that was inside Kodlak, I talked to him and I heard a groan behind me. I turned around and Aela was Dead on the ground! As I left the Tomb and came to the Outside Courtyard THERE was her Body in the Courtyard! When I entered Whiterun a messenger came running up and gave me a Letter from the Jarl telling me Aela was dead and I had inherited some money from her. As I entered Jorvaskr to see if anyone was still around THERE on the floor was the Dead Aela! The others were just chowing down with her laying there. So..has anyone experienced anything like this, or is this some warped Bug?

Same thing happened when I installed the killable childrens mod. One of my adopted kids got killed and when I moved the rest of the family the dead kid moved with us.

That's creepy in a way, funny, and I guess in terms of the move; dead weight.
