Creation Kit NPC Face Edit not working

Sup. I have a question; see I tried to edit a npc in skyrim (Carlotta if it's important) and I changed her appearence, inventory, stats and factions. So far everything works, with the exception of one thing, her face. It has been left unedited and I was wondering if anyone can help me with this?

Question I may hear 1: Have you attempted to edit Carlotta's face in the past?
Answer: Yes. I've tried editing her face with with NPC Editor in the past, but I got rid of it and the edited face for reasons I forget (I use the same save file from the edited Carlotta) .

Question I may hear 2: Why use CK instead of NPC Edit?
Answer: I got rid of NPC Edit a while back and then I wanted to change Carlly's face again and I recently started practicing CK, so I figured "Why not?"

I'm trying to make visual tweaks to the NPCS as well. Just now I tried CK and got the same problem you have. Anyone know about this?

It works kinda, but unfortunatly after I do the ctrl+f4 thing, it comes up as skyrim.esm in my folder and does't work. I am going to redo my mod and try it again.

I Discovered the problem, The video you showed only woks if the npc is a mod, not from the game. I'll work my way to find a solution

I don't know all I've been doing is editing the base actors (characters) from skyrim.esm and it saves the changes to a new esp file

Spewed (name of modder) has how do, in his mod that may help you (It was do to face and hair mod).
ApachiiskyHair NPC Overhaul by spewed (not sure it still in his readme files.)
Basically for CK
Tick Skyrim.esm
Tick Apachii hair.esm
Tick Apachii hiar.esp (I didn't have this but still works)
Do not activate until all are ticked then OK
Do the same as clip shows
when you go actors click on + box
If females only
go down list fin NORD click on female
List list will show next column, hightlight all and press Ctrl. F4
do the to bretons and imperials etc
DO NOT CLOSE OR SAVE
go to c:drive Steam>steamapps>skyrim>data>textures>actors>character>FacegenData>skyrim.esm delete all and close.
In CK open file go to save and click on it and exit CK.
Play game
This process will take time
Let me know if it works (mainly to rid you of black faces)
