Help! Faendal's not in Riverwood.

I made the Love triangle quest, but it was a while ago. I don't remember exactly if it was in Faendal's favor (Camilla has Faendal's fake letter from Sven, though I think I might have told her the truth.)
Now I decided to take Faenda'l as follower to make him a steward, but he's nowhere in Riverwood. I know it won't work if I didn't make the quest in his favor, though how could he vanish? It's possible that he might just relocate?

Maybe he was killed.Hes not exactly strong or essential.Maybe there was a battle in riverwood and he was in the crossfire?

Faendal was probably killed during a dragon raid or a thief manages to haul off various loot before he decided to fight. If not then he's out in the day hunting for close game near the entrance where you first venture to Riverwood. Look around the places he'll usually do his routine everyday.

1) Open the console and type Prid 0001348C
2) Type the next command Moveto player, Faendal should be teleported near you

If he's dead..
1) Open console and type Player.placeatme 00013480

He is not necessarily dead; he sometimes wanders outside Riverwood. Try to wait until evening when he's in his house.

I've read on wikia that he might wander so I was hoping for this instead oh him being dead. ^^

Look around outside near Riverwood or at the village where he'll might do his routines like gathering wood or hunting outside the fields.

I tried first comand and it didn't worked. Obviously he was dead.
Second command worked and now I have him as a follower.
This saved me a ton of time to look for another steward. I already failed once with another follower/ non steward material, so thanks so much

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, THAT WORKED. I'm pretty far into the game, and have had faendal following me the whole time. I just completed a long quest, and then teleported to dawnstar, he was with me before the teleport then gone. I used the command you listed and he teleported next to me. thanks!!

Faendal is actually pretty useless as a Steward, the first time you need to fight off any Bandits or a Giant, he could easily be killed. You're better off becoming a Thane and using the Housecarl that is assigned to you by the Jarl. I once tried to make him a Steward at Lakeview, and he was toast with the first encounter there. The Housecarls will even head over to your homestead on their own as soon as you get the Small House structure built, so you don't need to go hunting around for them.

He never dies at all. not able to atleast for me. I upgraded him to bad azz glass armors I made and enchanted with shield and ebony enchanted mace. He is pretty useful. I married lydia and leave her home with the kids lol. I never use him as a steward though. just a follower.

Me being stupid i made him a follower and gave him a dragonbone enchanted breastplate some other armor with enchantments and a glass bow with arrows..
