Mods that can boost Magicka regen?
As title. Only ones i have found also add things i am not looking for. Just want a fair boost to Magicka regen so i dont cast 3 spells and be useless the rest of the battle as a pure caster in the beginning.

Thanks in advance!

Learn to use the console. Search up Skyrim Console in google and learn to use it withuot having to install useless/pointless mods. And achieve still work if youre into that kinda thing.

Also you can find armor that gives magic regen boost, same with health and stamina, disenchant it and start putting it on all your gear. Although a smarter thing would be get robes that lower destruction spells cost instead of mana regen.

Yeah ive currently got robes that lower magicka cost on the spells im using, as well as 50% magicka regen. I know better robes exist with better percents but this early in the game i dont have the gold for them. Just stinks at low levels as a cast :/

Here's two mods that do that along with several other changes
Balanced Magic - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2275/?
Empowered Magic - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11139/?

Danny is right about lowering destruction cost (rather than increasing magicka regen rate) once you're able to disenchant items with that ability. Some people make it so their destruction spells don't cost any magicka with the proper enchantments.

SuperLotus97, Thanks for the links. The only thing I am worried about is the fact I am using Apocalypse spells mod which also alters magic perks, and I am afraid they will clash with each other. Do you know by any chance if the Apocalypse spell mod and either of the ones you linked will clash? Really like some of the spells the mod I have added, dont really wanna get rid of it :/

Whats the name of that tweak your own game mod via the ui? Saw it once. Lets you change most every constant in the game via a user interface.

edit:
I think its this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18474
Saw someone give it a positive review once on youtube. I don't know if that is a knock off or the original though.

Someone took BYOG to the next level of complication with: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33395/? But it requires installing SKSE and skyui.

You acquire items as you play, like Morekei's mask that gives 100% faster magicka regen.

Thats the point, you play to pick these things up. Just cheating, well, that would ruin it for me.
Cruel Justice Dec 3, 2013 @ 11:59am
Yeah the only problem with the mask is its considered light armor, and im using the alteration school of perks. But yeah, i think i will just grit it out and try and find some good caster items. There has to be some good non armor caster items in the game

What I do it use the construction set to change the values of spells.

Load up the construction set and just select the Skyrim ESM, then go to spells and pick one of the spells you use normally. Thewre is a box that says calculate spell cost which you need to untick and then you can either halve the cost or double the damage of the spell. Go though and do that for all of your spells.

With alteration and cojuration I increased the duration to 5 minutes from 60 seconds, and double the levels it worked on for the conjuration spells.

Just keep in mind this is universal so the various witches, necromancers and mages will also be much more effective.

Save that and use BOSS to stick it at the bottom of your mod list, and you have you custom rmagic without anyone else's mod.

in the console:
player.setav Magickarate [Value]

Value = Rate of Magicka recovery. (default = 3.00)
Cruel Justice Dec 3, 2013 @ 1:33pm
Oh wow tyvm for that console command tapfererToaster. Do you have a recommended value i should put it to? Was thinking 4.00
TapfererToaster Dec 3, 2013 @ 1:57pm
Never seriously played a mage..
just try it out i guess. If the value resets to 3 the next time u load the game, type it again with modav instead of setav. one of those was only temp..

and if you need other commands, like magicka etc:

Look up The Art of Magicka ... big add-on mod that gives a ton of great stuff for Mage players, as well as others... it unlocks new Mage Robes and stuff based on the Perks you use, and you can get Robes for each school of magic that will dramatically improve your Mana regeneration, as well is reduce the mana cost of your spells, as well as add to your mana pool...

What Mage, wouldn't want this?

I didn't see anything in Apocalypse about altering the perk trees. It says this in the description:
"Apocalypse is fully compatible with mods that alter the power level of magic by modifying items, perks or introducing (hidden) perks."

You might also want to check out TERA armor. They have some modded pre-enchanted robes for both male and female characters. You won't be able to use all the robes right away though. You need to unlock some of them and also get certain items to craft them.
