Question: Is it possible to have a human / elf half breed?

This is probably a really dumb question but I just want to know out of curiosity, like for example, could a Nord and High Elf have a child? Just writing a fanfic and it would be awesome to have a character like that!

I think it is possible. I came across a book in Oblivion (can't remember wich one) saying that the different races could mix, but that the offspring would be the same race as the mother.

Yes, it is possible, but it would take some time (I think) due to the elves being less fertile than humans (at least Dark Elves, as far as I know). Bascially, most things can mix and mingle (except for Daedra, according to a book).

As for a character like that, I know Enhanced Character Edit on Nexus (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12951/?) allows you to have several traits from other races such as elf ears, pointed chin etc.

That is somewhat true, in lore the Bretons are the result of generations of the native mer living in High Rock with the humans (I don't remember the name atm) And yes the book you where thinking of DoktorOsiris is "Notes on Racial Phylogeny" or just Racial Phylogeny (depending on which game you are playing). It states that all the 10 "main" races of Tamriel can breed and bear young, with the child always being the race of the mother.

It is sunseekers_ but in TES Lore there are no half breeds, you are always the race of your mother, no matter what your father is.

the lore says a ? mer+human=breton. i think there can be cross breeds but its rare.
