Left-click being weird?

This happened about 3 days ago, and I assumed it would go away when I closed Skyrim and Re-Opened it.
Basically, every button works fine apart from Left-click (Or LMB, Mouse 1, whatever you call it). When I press it nothing happens, unless I keep pressing it loads of times really hard; making it virtually impossible to attack with any 2-handed weapon, or a weapon in my right hand.

But when I try to use left-click for anything else (Like, putting something in a chest, loading a save, ect) it works perfectly; as well as working perfectly with any desktop things.

maybe your game runs too slow or lags a bit.
check with an FPS tool, like razer game booster or fraps if you reach 60 FPS. if you have like 10, you should consider lowering your video settings or taking out your ENB

I forgot to say, I'm playing on Ultra quality, because my laptop can handle it very well. My Skyrim is playing at 100< FPS (According to the FPS test thingy I downloaded), so I don't think lag is an issue

cap your FPS @ 60 with vsync. this gets rid of most lag/bug issues

how did you do it? via gpu control panel or skyrim.ini

I am having the exact opposite problem. When I open a chest and try to select "Misc" or some other categories by left clicking the chest just closes. When I try to select "Misc" on a vendor..the vendor closes. Now it's hanging up in the "skills" window. I have 50 skill points in "Illusion" so am trying to select "Adept" spell casting, but "Left Click" as much as I want, it won't select it!

I had this problem for a while too. I fixed it by using a USB mouse... and then it fixed itself and started working properly again. Sorry, this probably isn't very helpful!

It's not just you, it's a known bug, it -might- fix itself on its own; until then, use a USB mouse if you can.

EDIT: Oh, right, 2013 thread. Holy mother of all necros there.

You can try shutting the computer down. Then switch the mouse to a different port.
