It's always been Delphine for me, with her attitude of superiority and constant snarky remarks at the expense of the Dragonborn. In my last playthrough I had put off going down the main questline until after I had done a lot of guild and expansion stuff, but there she is with her attitude. It made me long for the days of the old Fallout option to type in your response just so I could write something like "Look lady, I'm the Archmage of the College of Winterhold, Lord of the Volkihar Vampire Clan and probably the most powerful necromancer the world has seen since Mannimarco; you might want to shut your mouth before I decide to drain you of your blood and then reanimate your corpse as to be something more useful."

I can't stand Lydia's snarky "I'm sworn to carry your burdens" line. Luckily there's a mod that fixes that :) Also that kid you keeps asking me to turn him invisible. I would mind so much except he actually initiates dialogue and makes me have to manually get out of the conversation.

Anyway, I agree Legate Rikke got up my nose a bit with her incessant orders and little show of appreciation. She definitely had a sense of humor bypass.

In fact I find 90% of the people in Skyrim are so miserable they should open a comedy club or something in each city just to cheer them up a bit!

Some of the obviously mean characters (eg Neloth in Solstheim) I tolerate because they have more interesting quests. Some people can't stand the jester Cicero but I quite like him. I used him as a follower once and his dialogue was fairly entertaining. It's the boring characters I have little time for really.

Nazeem. I have a mod that allow me to turn people into my thralls by biting them as a vampire. After that, I forced him to kill his wife. Next we went to high hrothgar and his remains had been rotting in the sun somewhere at the base of the mountain ever since.
