Cannot leave third person

I was messing around with the mod Dragon Combat Overhaul, and I got into a fight with a frost dragon. The dragon knocked me off my feet, which triggered the third person camera as my body was thrown across the screen. After my charater got back up, I was stuck in that same thrid person view. I have tried various console commands to fix this, and have tried using workbenches and grindstones, nothing has helped. I cannot ride a horse, if I try the animation will bug and won't let me mount.

That works, but I would like to find a way to fix this without reverting to a previous save.

If your animation is bugged type "player.tai" in console and or sit down at a chair.

Still didn't help. Only thing it changed was that when it was toggled on I could sit in the chair and when it was off I could not

Have you tried the scroll wheel?

yes, I have tried all of the above. Maybe the best thing to do is just restart from an older save.

I had this exact glitch a few playthroughs back: i could't leave 3rd person view and whenever i got on a horse and clicked the menu my camera would lock and glitch. Im sorry to say that i never found a fix to the glitch, my only solution was to completely erase all game data, re-install all my mods and re-start the game. You could try to load back a save before the glitch begun, but i never got the chance to try it. Good luck fixing it, i know how annoying it was for me :(

Tried fast travelling? That helps when you're stuck in a position; may it could in this case, too.

Quite a late reply, but using the "pushactoraway" command on the character worked.

turn into a werewolf/vampire lord and it should work
otherwise, mount a horse or reload a save. It's annoying but that's the only solution.

Fixed this bug by quicksaving, and reloading the save.
Loading a save before it happens works too.
Haven't tried reloading the whole game, but it might work.

Wanted to confirm that this worked for me as well. Anything else that forces you to ragdoll will probably also work.
