hitting the books can't reach 3rd book
Hi!

I've finished the quest by defeating the caller. My last hit was in front of a door. The 3rd quest item is on a rim high above me where i can't reach it. I've tried player.placeatme commands etc, but this doesn't work (i think because its not in my inventory yet). I don't have a good save to go back to... :'(
Anyone suggestions?

Open your console and type tcl.

This will toggle no-clip mode. In this mode, you can "fly" and walk through walls. Use tcl to reach that last book, then use tcl again to go back into normal mode.

This or maybe Telekinesis from Alteration school. But tcl is the sure-shot way to reach stuff that can't be reached anymore because the Nines said so.

OH! NO! trigger cheating is better, he just to lazy to find and active pedstal and way to next book

"TCL" is also a method of getting items stuck in stone and such loose, so that you can get them. You can use it on youself, so you can approach the stuck item until you get the activation pop-up. Or you can use it on the item itself, no, wait, that's "Disable" & "Enable".

Which book are you in?? You are missing something like a pestal to open next door to go on.
Ther are 7 black books

Which quest are you talking about, the one for the college or the one for the Black Books?
If it is the one for the college, all three books should be on the pedistals where you defeated the "Caller". How did it get up on the rim?

i was the college quest... the book that was on de caller ended up on the rim cause i killed him underneath the rim... :(

Are those the stolen books from college if so, just talk and take the books, don't have kill her. Tell the mage (who stole the books)you saved from cage to disappear, you don't need his help.
