Heavy armor mod for Theives Guild and Dark Brotherhood?
Hi, I'm a heavy armor character and I hate having to wear light armor whenever I join the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild. It's a shame that there isn't already heavy armor in the game for both factions. Is there a mod of some sort that adds heavy armor to the Dark Brotherhood and the Guild, so that I may be a murderer and thief all while wearing heavy armor?

Thanks!

thieves guild / dark brotherhood are supposed to be the masters of subtlety, heavy armor doesn't really fit that so i see the reasoning why they don't supply heavy armor.

If your playing vanilla skyrim, light armor is better than heavy. Both hit armor cap eventually.

i forgot the name, but there's a vanilla heavy armor called 'ebony mail'. should be useful for that kind of thing.

I get that, but it's quite annoying to have to wear their light armor to fit the part of a thief/assassin.

i wear no armor as an assassin or thief its all on how you play. you could just take the armor they give you sell it and then go make some better armor with enchanting.

Yeah I suppose. Or I could just switch to light armor? I mean, it's just as good as heavy, you can run faster, and not get tired as quickly. However, I would have to put points into it to make it just as good as my heavy armor, which would take a while. But, I suppose that I will just completely switch over to light. That seems to be the only thing that I can do.

go to solstheim and get the Deathbrand armor or black guard armor if you really want to have a good set of light armor its way better then the crap you get from the thieves guild or dark brotherhood.

Heavy armor just doesn't fit for thieves, not at all. But it MIGHT fit for assassins. You don't always have be subtle when assassinating someone. It would be unusual, but not unheard of in the series.

I'm sure you've already found yourself something but there IS a mod that adds a heavy version of the Shrouded Armor http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=15557

You could just use the Steed Stone and negate Heavy Armour's weight, you'll run faster too.

Festus for example. nothing subtle about his technique or abjorn being a werewolf. his armor is heavy btw
